13th AEEE Conference: Energy Transition & Climate Change

The Spanish Association for Energy Economics (AEEE) announces the celebration of its conference on February 1st and 2nd, 2017 in the city of Zaragoza, with the collaboration of the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies at the University of Zaragoza.
AEEE is the Spanish section of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) and promotes, among other activities, the organization of an annual Conference about Energy Economics. The AEEE Conference aims to emphasize the links between universities, regulators and companies with interests in areas such as Economics, Energy, Environment and Climate Change. In its thirteenth edition, the main topic is the Energy Transition & Climate Change within the context of implementation of the Paris Agreement. For this purpose, academic parallel sessions (subject to Call for Papers and a specific assigned discussant) are complemented with plenary sessions and a round table.

Call for Paper

The Scientific and Organizing Committees invite all researchers to submit original (theoretical and/or empirical) papers on any topic in the field of Energy Economics, including the main topic of this edition, before October 30th, 2017. Each accepted paper will have a discussant. In order to strengthen mutual understanding of the conference papers and to facilitate the organization of the Conference, the speakers accept the task of discussing a paper. Authors have to submit their papers to aeee@aeee.es. The submitted papers consist of a single PDF file with a maximum size of 2MB (no other formats will be accepted). The first page has to include the following information: name, affiliation and email address of the author or co-authors; title; abstract of no more than 100 words; JEL codes and up to 5 keywords. The papers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.
