XIV Conference of the Spanish Association for Energy Economics

The Spanish Association for the Energy Economics (AEEE) announces the celebration of the XIV AEEE Annual Conference on January 31 and February 1, 2019 in A Coruña. The Rectorate Building of the University of A Coruña will host the most important academic and business conference on Energy Economics in Spain.

The AEEE is the Spanish division of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) and, among its activities, promotes the organization of an annual Conference on Energy Economics. The Conference of the AEEE intends to promote the links between the university, regulators and companies with interests in areas such as Energy Economics, Environment and Climate Change. In this fourteenth edition, the main theme of the Conference is “Energy transition, industry and employment”. This topic tries to cover the main challenge, in the medium term, of high quality job creation by searching for opportunities and solutions within the industry, and in the context of a fair energy transition towards a decarbonized economy. It is, therefore, a matter of thinking about what alternatives can be offered for the electricity and energy business in order to achieve a sustainable environmental and socioeconomic future. The focus will be on the Iberian, the European and the global framework.

For all this, the Conference offers academic participation through the presentation of papers and / or posters in parallel sessions, as well as plenary lectures and a round table with business, social, political and academic representatives of the highest level.
