Spanish Association for Energy Economics (AEEE)

The Spanish Association for Energy Economics is the Spanish branch of the International Association for Energy Economics. We are a group of professionals from academia, business and administration who believe that economics, the science of economics, has a lot to say in the approach and solution of energy problems.

Our aim is to generate economic debates, to bring together energy economics professions, and to disseminate knowledge in the field of energy economics. To this end, we carry out various activities: an annual academic congress, a researcher map, a journal and membership newsletter, as well as technical conferences on issues of particular relevance to the energy model.

What is AEEE?

The Spanish Association for Energy Economics (AEEE) was founded in 2004 in order to facilitate both professional communication and exchange of ideas between people interested in energy economics. It also aims to inform and educate the society in the field of energy economics as well as fostering international cooperation in this area.

To meet these targets, among other activities, the association organizes an annual Spanish conference. The AEEE is the Spanish affiliate of the International Association for Energy Economics.
